Charissa Thompson

Thompson was fired from FOX Sports in 2010 and performed double duty as a host for both Versus as well as Yahoo Sports. She was the host of Versus' NHL coverage in the studio as well as produced web videos for Yahoo's highly-trafficked platform. Thompson helmed the website's presence at major sporting events such as The 2010 Winter Olympics and FIFA World Cup. Her success in both sports resulted in her being a part of ESPN in the summer of 2011 and she was promoted to one of the hosts on the brand's new show for the afternoon "Numbers Never lie." Thompson joined in July 2012 to join the "SportsNation" company in July of 2012. The show was hugely successful, and she stayed on until the end of May 2013 in which time she returned to Los Angeles to launch FS1. Thompson as a sports lover who is a true sports fan, has demonstrated impressive versatility in crossing over to the entertainment industry. In June 2014, after various part-time roles Thompson was made a as the permanent host of the Hollywood evening news magazine "Extra". In that capacity the magazine filmed its segments at Universal Studios while also staffing award shows as well as other prestigious gatherings regularly. Charissa Charissa Charissa
