Kelly Clarkson was an American artist and songwriter who was the sweetheart of America after she was crowned American Idol in the first season. Not only was the winning that ushered Kelly Clarkson into the limelight, it also landed her an arrangement in partnership with RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records to release a variety of albums. From her first appearance, she released numerous albums. From those, three were ranked first on the US Billboard 200. The other albums were also close to the top spot. Her name is among the most successful artists to come out of her participation in the American Idol series. As she achieved success she tried out different topics and styles of music, often writing her own songs of her own feelings. As a tribute to her talent and individuality, she has been rewarded with a variety of accolades and accolades. In particular, she's won the Grammy Award three times. Apart from her music career she has appeared in films and TV shows. She has also written her children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been a part of numerous charities.
