Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss was born July 23rd, 1971 in Decatur, Illinois. She and LeAnnekymes were among the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23rd, 1971) is an American bluegrass and country musician as well as singer. She was a teenager when she made her debut in the music scene and was a winner of local contests as early as 10 years old, and recorded her debut album at 14 years old. The year 1987 was when she dropped her debut solo album following signing with Rounder Records. She was asked to join Alison Krauss & Union Station together with whom she performed.
